Headaches are very often debilitating. Many people are surprised to learn that chiropractic treatment can be very effective for treating certain kinds of headaches
Tension headaches are often associated with our hectic lifestyle and stress. Migraines can be very debilitating and disturbing. Sometimes there is no headache to speak of, but symptoms may include visual and hearing disturbances, sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, even vomiting. Dizzy spells can occur as part of migraine symptoms, with headaches or on their own with no other associated symptoms.
After your chiropractor has carefully assessed your headaches and diagnosed the cause, recommendations for care can be given. Some type of headaches can be very successfully treated with chiropractic care. Very rarely, headaches can be the sign of more serious illness, in these cases, your chiropractor will refer you to the appropriate health care provider.
I was recommended by a friend to see a chiropractor to help with my migraines. The diagnosis and treatment was excellent and has seen my migraines reduce to almost none. I would recommend anyone to Back to Health - the service and care is 2nd to none

Your GP can refer you to chiropractors because they are regulated by the General Chiropractic Council in the same way as medical doctors are regulated by the General Medical Council. Sadly, you will still need to pay for your treatment as chiropractic care is not provided within the NHS in this area of the country. If you disagree with this, let your GP know!
